Many EWHL (European Women’s Hockey League) players from Hungary and Austria were in action during the November break. After the narrow 0:2 defeat the day before, Austria’s women’s ice hockey national team avenged themselves on Saturday afternoon with a 3:1 victory. Annika Fazokas gave her team the lead in the 6th minute and scored the game-winning goal for a 2:1 lead with just under four minutes left in the game after Hungary equalized in the middle period. Emma Hofbauer contributed to the 3:1 final score with an empty-net goal in the 59th minute.
